Typical Weekend

I woke up to a completely empty house. The ringing of the phone hung in my ear.
I walked past the phone, full of deliberation and purpose. Not yet...

I wanna be left alone.

Finished my cleaning up, put on my face, ready to face the world now.
The ringing stopped, abrupt and cold. Oh well...

Opened up the door, the sounds and sights of urban living filtered in... A typical weekend...

Hesh. Haven been blogging coz I do not noe what to blog. It's like waking up in a dream, the passing events seemed so unreal, distant... I want to scream, but what words should be strung together? That, I have no idea. So I gave up screaming, like I gave up breathing a long time ago... Just me and my little void of silence; Red. Breathing walls.

Trapped. Trapped in a dazzling swirl of reality, jealously, anger, love, disappointment, shame... The Vortex. Where the heck is peace? Definitely not on Earth...

The mynahs are back. Each standing proud with their sleek feathers; each behaving like thieves without shame. They sneak, steal and then take flight -- Utter shamelessness.

I fed the mynahs.

The drilling continued outside the cold, steel frame. Oh the Age of Machinery! The greatest invention of all! All hail~!!! I sat, dreamlike. Trying to grasp the material world arnd me -- flipped the faded pages of the newspaper, vaguely remembered reading about the man who crashed his car. Then trapped in the seat, he had watched his entire life go up in flames.. The authorities said it had happened really fast, not much pain or suffering...Pity.

I need coffee.

The comp is on, and all the tasks ahead suddenly seems nonsensical.

"Let's blog a little." said the inner voice. "Yes, let's..." Said mine. And so, time came to a stand still, the sights and sounds of urban living continued outside, my own little world starts to pump, and hum and churn and buzz.. Beautiful and delightful.. A typical weekend.
