Happy 42nd Birthday Singapore!!!

It's National Day today and it's also a Ho-hO-HoLidAy!

Went out with my family to a couple of places today:

First stop was Kranji War Memorial (or the Kranji State Cemetry). It is sad place filled with ghosts of memories and the past. Thousands were buried here and today, we took time off, honouring these men.

The Air, the Sea and the Land were all remembered in this monument.

Next stop, we head to the Turtles and Tortise Museum in Chinese Garden:

See what's making the water churn?

Still no idea?

And there you have it!! Er.. THEM! TOrToiSes!!!!!

Afterwards, we went to Kent Ridge Park, heading towards Bukit Chandu:

These are pictures along the walk to Bukit Chandu... Gave me a 'Pan's Labyrinth' feel...

Here's a view from the Canopy Walk right before we reached Bukit Chandu, pity I didn't managed to take any fotos there. It's a beautiful museum... Visit to know more k? It's peaceful and quiet, and sad on an occasion like today.

On a lighter note... Salute to the Singapore Flag flying past the Padang!

My dad and a whole bunch of ppl. at the Padang waiting for the fireworks...

Alright folks, that's all i took for today. Haha... sorry, was preoccupied with talking in the scenes rather than capturing them. Hee, today's a happy day. I really enjoy running arnd and exploring places. oKies PeePs... check these places out if you have the time, won't disappoint you!
