Victor is terrified of marriage. Yes. But upon setting his eyes on would-be-fiancée, pretty and soft-spoken Victoria, the union just couldn't come soon enough...
Alas! The priest's last words to the clumsy and jittery (which is not a good thing) Victor was that there will be NO marriage ceremony till he, well... better in his own words: "LEARN YOUR VOWS!!!" O_o
Horrified by his own clumsiness, Victor took off into the night.. Through the creepy woods and finally, stopping in the middle of nowhere. He calms himself down, and tried at his vows. "With this candle; ..... I will set your mother on fire..." (seriously, ask me and I'd think tht's his honest-to-God-thought. >.<)
But true love prevails! A deep breath and a single mind, that's all it takes,
For trouble to begin.
A gnarled-looking branch, wait, is that a hand?
A strong wind blew, can you see who??
A movement, a devastating moment;
And the Corpse Bride said, "I do..."
There Victor's a really mild and not-so-articulate boy. He tried means and ways to deceive, to buy his way from the Netherworlds to the 'Upstairs'. Slowly, things begin to grow on him... as in his new bride, sweet Emily with her wonderful personality and his beloved dead dog Scraps... Even the deceased... they're so... pieceful and sweet~
And well... since Victoria's about to get married to Lord Wots-His-Name...
"You don't have to kill me, I'll do it myself."
Really cool animation, different from tht of Wallace and Gromit (which i love too). Watch those weird Characters come alive~!
